Join our innovative team at DHL Freight as a Lead & Digital Customer Interaction (DCI) Manager (f/m/d) at the Global Head Office in Bonn
As the Lead & DCI Manager, you will be at the forefront of lead management at the Global Head Office. You'll collaborate with DHL divisions, our Customer, Solutions & Innovations (CSI) teams, and lead a community of forward-thinking lead management contacts across DHL Freight's European Sales organization.
As a Lead & DCI Manager you will:
- Manage and continuously improve the lead management processes, focusing on efficiency, engagement, and performance.
- Design, set up, and administer global sales campaigns in collaboration with functional experts and the Sales community. Your goal: to ignite sales growth aligned with our defined sales strategy.
- Serve as the commercial counterpart for digital customer interaction tools and processes, including customer portals, Freight platforms, 3PVs, APIs, social media, and other online interfaces. Your expertise will enhance the customer experience and drive engagement
- Act as the ambassador for DHL Freight's Social Selling agenda, partnering with the Marketing function to develop, administer, and promote innovative tools, trainings, and guidelines for our Sales community.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements, such as CRM improvements, and interfaces between internal and external systems. Your insights will drive seamless operations and improved efficiency.
- Craft a refined value proposition for DHL Freight's spot and small customer segments, leveraging our organizational setup, digital tools, and streamlined processes to deliver exceptional value.

We are looking for someone with excellent analytical thinking skills, who can work independently and proactively to find solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will be working closely with a team and interacting with stakeholders. Entrepreneurial thinking, diplomatic acting, and an intrinsic motivation to take ownership of targets within the areas of Lead Management and DCI are also key traits we are seeking.
Other essential skills required for this role include:
- Degree in business, preferably with a focus on Sales/Marketing or a comparable qualification
- 2–4 years of professional experience in Sales/Marketing, preferably in Freight Forwarding or other Logistics areas
- Previous experience with common sales-related tools/CRMs
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- A high proficiency in the digital space, including Social Media, is a must
- Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required for this role. Knowledge of German and/or another language is a plus
