Dipl.-Ing. Alin-Andrei Bastea

As the PFE I am part of the Head tasked with leading the field ADC (ADAS/AD Development Cycle) in the SDV.DEV (Software Defined Vehicle) Solution.

I took over the responsibilities for the development process of the teams working on the products INTECRIO and ISOLAR-EVE. As SCRUM Master my role is to coordinate and maintain the day-to-day and sprint-to-sprint artifacts of the team as well as nurture the communication channels inside and outside the team. As Project Manager I fulfill the teams' responsibilities regarding budget, planning and reporting to the upper management and to the stake holders.

I am part of the software development team that focuses on improving and maintaining the main application for the LABCAR hardware. Since the team transitioned to the SCRUM agile development I am also the main driver of this transition and I am also acting as the proxy SCRUM Master.

I am part of a researching team involved in modeling human-sociological interactions in innovating organizations. My duties involve modeling, idea generation and software developing. The team implements the agile development paradigm, SCRUM. Since 07.11 I am the team's SCRUM Master.

It is my first job in Germany and it was a great opportunity for me to get in touch with how things are done in Germany. I work in the Scientifc Computing Institute in a joint simulation project of the Mathematics Institute and the Computer Science of RWTH Aachen. My work has a lot to do with parallel programing and simulation.

My duties involved regression, integration and robustness testing of the ABS software. I was involved also with the fault generation process for test validation.
