R&D in Network Verification and Observability • Developed a system for network and application fault demarcation using eBPF, INT and critical traffic signals (L4 header data) • Use Case – real-time fault classification and localization for cloud networks Network Verification • Developed probe-based tool for true reachability verification between nodes in Cloud VPC using techniques such as packet trains. • Use Case – Bandwidth efficient tool to verify true reachability & performance quantification

• Implemented and evaluated Lossless Data Center Networks Congestion Control (CC) Algorithm for RDMA networks using RoCEv2 packet format in Omnet++ • Implemented custom Client/Server for reliable communication for CC algorithm • Publication: E2E TCP Compatible Backpressure Routing, INFOCOMM WKSHPS ‘22

• Simulations and experimental investigations (in MATLAB) on EVMrms as a transmitter quality metric for 400Gbps 16-QAM interoperable optical interfaces • Supporting optical standardization activities in ITUT SG15 and IEEE 802.3. Results of work led to a submission of contribution for standardization.
