Currently managing a caseload of inmates incarcerated for various offences. As standard procedure, I induct new inmates into correctional facilities, set up assessment schedules in regards to health checks, behavioural goals, employment, education and rehabilitation programs and ensure inmates meet these requirements, calculate length of sentences and parole and release dates, assist with parole applications, take part in parole hearings, and update inmate records.

Managed electricity accounts for new and existing customers; advised customers of their rights and responsibilities under consumer legislation; managed information privacy initiatives; handled customer complaint processes; and assisted customers in co-ordinating arrangements for utilities with local zoning laws, builder requirements and rental tenancy agreements. This position involved dealing with customers both by telephone and in person.

Within the context of the joint Delter IBI/University of Sussex (UK) international business program, I planned, co-ordinated and conducted tertiary-level courses in Economics, Business, Computing and English language. In addition, I carried out academic examinations, prospective student interviews, student counselling, and external corporate workshops in English language instruction.

As head English Instructor, I was responsible for developing the College’s new English language program. This included working with teachers to standardise course content, conducting training sessions on teaching methods and the impact of cultural expectations in the classroom, planning extra-curricular activities and examination schedules, and conducting both core lessons and demonstration lessons.

I was responsible for standardising the foreign teacher curriculum and adapting it to the target audience, choosing new course material, hosting the weekly campus radio English language program, assessing graduate written pieces prior to submission to testing authorities, starting and maintaining a student database to record English skills and progress, and conducting lessons in spoken, written and business English.

Conducted English language instruction for both casual learners and TOEIC/TOEFL examination candidates, worked as part of the curriculum development team to build a database of lesson plans, and carried out prospective student interviews and student counselling sessions where required.
