Catalysis Digital provides consulting services to startups, medium and large companies needing concrete mobile strategies, digital development and product delivery expertise. Areas of specialization include digital audits, product marketing strategies, product requirements, analytics, technical digital marketing (SEO and paid advertising), agile product development processes, technology management, strategic business plans, and conversion optimization.

Senscraft, a self-funded mobile product company, was profitable in its first year of operation. Named best mobile startup in 2012 by Startups.com, and one of the five most exciting startups in Britain by Forbes in 2013, Senscraft’s main product was a mobile app and website software platform, highly optimized for the operation of large online catalogue sites across many countries. Senscraft’s IP and technology was purchased in 2015, leading to a final disposal of the company.

Responsible for the B2C online and mobile business units, generating a combined annual revenue of €200m. Focusing on driving consumer usage, and growing subscription and leads-based advertising revenue across eight countries. Primary product initiatives focus on the optimization of lead generation for small local businesses through online, mobile, and syndication channels. Main strategies consist of search engine marketing, social network lead generation, and website conversion optimization.

Recruited to European Directories to build a new, revenue generating, mobile product line. Operating across eight countries, one of the challenges was delivering an efficient product portfolio that could be flexibly and cost effectively managed across all languages and varying country business models. Succeeded in growing mobile usage from zero to 6m sessions per month in just 2.5 years, while adding €60m to mobile-specific annual revenues.

Yell (now Hibu) was a FTSE 100 B2B2C company specializing in helping consumers find the products and services they need from the over 3.5 million businesses in the UK. I was recruited to help the company build its first mobile product portfolio, as well as to assist in helping the company in its transformation to digital.

Webraska was a pioneer startup in mobile location based services, delivering some of the most innovative mobile software products, including over-the-air GPS navigation and online mapping products. Responsible for the technology organization, a team of 60 developers, quality assurance engineers, network operations, hosting, and professional services.

Netquartz was an innovative startup, specializing in online, network-based digital rights management for software. I was recruited shortly after the company’s first round of funding (€20m), and was responsible for recruiting the technology team, implementation of software development and quality control processes, and overseeing that product requirements were implemented efficiently.

Responsible for project design and work plan, staff management, client relationship management, presentation of deliverables, business development initiatives, and competitive proposal writing. Areas of expertise included machine learning, speech recognition, sonar, and active noise and vibration control. BBN was acquired by GTE in 1997, which subsequently merged with Bell Atlantic to become Verizon Communications in June 2000.
