Art Directing the launch of an independent men's and women's magazine. Herringbone is a convergence point for fashion, style and consumer perceptions.

Corissa is a Berlin-based communication designer and art director delivering for fashion, media and lifestyle brands in both print and digital landscapes. She believes in stimulating audiences by telling beautiful stories in print and through interactive experiences on digital platforms. She now runs a full-time freelance business, working with various international clients to produce high quality brand, campaign and editorial content.

Providing design, art direction, project management and development for editorial and trade magazines in both German and English. Carry-On Publishing and Carry-On Trade Publishing are new media companies focusing on the publication of digital-only magazines. We are exploring new visions for familiar concepts in the publishing industry.

Designed layouts and provided assistant art direction for all sections of ELLE Canada magazine. Worked closely with the Digital Creative Director to redesign ELLE Canada’s iPad edition. Art directed and produced the third issue of ELLE Collections in print and on the iPad. Managed tasks and provided direction for interns within the art department. Contributed to the ELLE Canada blog.

Performed editorial design, assistant art direction and image research for ELLE Canada Magazine, print and digital editions. Was heavily involved in the art direction/interactivity development for the launch of ELLE Canada on iPad. Also designed of marketing materials for ELLE, Style at Home, Canadian Living, Canadian Gardening, More Magazine, Juice Magazine & The Hockey News.

Worked alongside the Art Director and Associate Art Director for seven issues. Duties included designing layouts, researching and sourcing images, assisting with photoshoots, high-resolution image placement, collecting production credits, and updating the pagination for the Editor-in-Chief on a monthly basis. Also participated in the total redesign of the magazine with responsibility for reshaping specific editorial and promotional segments.

Project managed production, editing, marketing, and selling a publication made by students of the Magazine Minor at AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute). Odd Magazine was sold internationally. Duties included creating and overseeing timelines and production schedules, copy editing all outgoing editiorial and PR material involved in the magazine, it’s distribution and the launch event, and producing all text for the yearbook.
