Cristian Tudoroiu

I was member of the Front Protection Design Team working on the steering wheels and airbags projects. I was responsible for the design of standardized single components such as frame, foam, plastic and leather parts, retainer, cover, switch housing, harness brackets and more. Some of my duties were: Our activity involved molding, die casting, foaming and deburring technologies.

I was working as Body-in-White (BIW) tooling designer being part of the romanian design office. Together with our colleagues from Steelweld Holland and U.K. we designed and simulate the entire body-in-white assembly process of vehicles (fixtures, grippers, stands, buffers). Our work involved duties such as cost, strength and payload calculation, conscious creation and modification of (draft) designs, assemblies and BOM for purchase lists.

I was part of the design team where I have developed harnesses design for Cummins&Perkins. Being in permanent connection with the design office from UK, our team was responsible of design, error check and releasing the harnesses according to company standards.

I worked with the maintenance engineering team, monitoring the industrial equipment and developing monthly reports on energy consumption and costs.
