As part of Trading & Supply, I assisted Argos with the migration of the distillates supply portfolio into the new ETRM system (Triple Point CXL). My responsibility was to analyse the entire trading portfolio, lay down the project scope and manage the integration as the project manager. To assist the senior management in the tight deadlines and facilitate the departments, I also took on a few execution project roles, providing direct support to the traders and teams involved.

Next to analysing the business and assisting in the integration of all entities, I additionally coordinated the Risk activities of the bunkering & distillates books and helped for their optimization. I further assisted with multiple major enhancements of the new CTRM/ETRM system (CXL) on FX, Commodity Risk Positions and Mark-to-Market valuations, later incorporated as core end-user functionality by TPT. It entrusted me with advanced fundamental knowledge on best-trading practices and risk management.

In this role, I worked closely with >20 traders and all Mabanaft business units’ Back Office, Operations, Finance and local Risk employees. The trading portfolios I was responsible of covered global and wholesale trading of distillates, bunker fuels and blending of products. This involved entities and markets in Germany, UK, Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, Singapore, and USA.
