Manage a number of projects worldwide relevant to control systems and electrical “balance of plant” equipments for power plants; Integrated Project Management (IPM) Manager, responsible for rolling out the integrated project management tools.

Responsible for project management of profit center Service and Control Systems (for thermal and hydro power plants, water plants, and waste incineration plants), as well as profit center Hydro Plant Service. Leading a team of project managers and assuming overall responsibility for the projects. Also manage a number of projects worldwide (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Russia, Netherlands).

Manage workpackages of R&D Programs in Alstom Power CTO Office Global Integration, to apply specific methodologies and tools to direct the strategic investment decisions. These programs are: Power Plant Flexibility (on going); Alstom Next Generation Combined Cycle Power Plant with Significantly Improved Net Efficiency; and Benefits/Costs Flue Gas Recirculation applied to Alstom Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Manage three Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Plant EPC Projects in the Regions Southern Europe, India and Australia, for the scope of rotating equipments (gas turbine, steam turbine, generator, and their associated control systems and auxxiliary systems), covering: Commercial Responsibility (scope in the range of 45 to 70 Million EURO per project); Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing Management; Schedule/Financial/ Quality Management; Erection and Commissioning Support

Lead the group to design, develop, integrate, test and validate dynamic models of gas turbines, fuel systems, auxiliary systems and electrical systems, and use them to develop gas turbine development simulators for control system development and validation, and in power plant simulators for development engineering and training purposes (covering hardware-in-loop and software-in-loop simulators).

Gas turbine dynamic models development and standardization of the model library; Gas turbine dynamic model development for the GT26B Combined Cycle Power Plant Training Simulator Project (Senoko, Singapore), including project coordination between Alstom, ABB, and TRAX.

Assistance in teaching 3 courses: “Process Dynamics”, “Automation in Chemical Process” and “Experiments on Process Control;” Participated in a project “Monitoring and control of a distillation column.”
