Shared resource who serves as the point contact between Verizon’s Security Services team and customers’ security and IT staff as well as users and other important stakeholders. Main responsibility is operating the incident management process in accordance with the procedures designed in cooperation with the customers. On a day-to-day basis, we assist with, identifying and responding to incidents as well as being proactive in the proposal improvements for how to reduce risk and potential future incidents.

Part of a small team of Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT) analysts from the Internal Security Operations Center (SOC) from a company in the Insurance industry. Receives escalation from the SOC Monitoring team or proactively hunt for possible threats, and respond accordingly to different cybersecurity incidents.

Monitors the security monitoring consoles in real-time basis, conducts research and analysis of security and/or network related alerts generated by the SIEM (QRADAR), performs other duties required to a level 1 SOC Analyst.
