- Representation of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA) interests at ISS Management and Operations meetings. - Routine real-time on-console support at NASA-JSC ISS Management Center (IMC) for JEM & HTV operation, supporting JAXA’s Operations Management Team (OMT). - Coordination of Business Development activities (domestic and Japan-based) to promote JAXA facilities on the ISS for use by US entities as well as U.S. partner space hardware and services in Asia.

Support US payload developers, experimenters and principal investigators (PIs) in the selection of microgravity experiment hardware developed by European partners for physical and life sciences (ISS National Lab). - Develop technical reference material for customer organizations, coordinating requirements and identifying hardware options. - Perform US-market assessments and demonstration tests of commercial aerospace hardware developed by European partner

Program support interface via liaison with NASA JSC ISS Program and all European increment teams concurrently, includes: Attend relevant NASA JSC meetings (ISS Program Board/Panel, IMT etc.) and report to the ESA Industrial Operator Team (IOT) and dedicated ESA boards during all increment phases, Review relevant documentation (presentations, IDRD, Annexes etc.), Coordinate required inputs and elaborate the relevance to ESA, Post-Increment, crew debriefings and lessons learned reporting.

Flight operations lead during 12 Shuttle missions at JSC MCC • Astronaut trainer for more than 50 EVA crewmembers • Liaison to Shuttle/ISS Program, payload customers and German engineering teams • Senior engineer responsible for structural, thermal, extra-vehicular activity (EVA) and robotics (EVR) interface requirements verification • flight hardware integration and turnover support for 15 external payloads • Launch support at the KSC Launch Control Center

Managed structural test programs of sub-systems and components for Ariane 4 and 5, satellites, ISS and various space experiments and demonstrators, e.g. Ariane 5 ESC-A (cryogenic upper stage) and EPS-SCA (Attitude Control Systems), Columbus Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS), ISS Standard Payload Computer (SPLC), ISS Data Management System-Russia (DMS-R), Atmospheric Reentry Demonstrator (ARD). - Test planning, preparation, operations, data acquisition/processing and reporting
