Nathalie Bäcker

As an employee of the Higher Nature Conservation Authority, I'm responsible for distributing and controlling the annual budget funds available in a targeted and appropriate manner within the framework of the existing national and international legal requirements. Due to my bachelor's degree in public administration, I have broad knowledge in the areas of law, business administration, political science and sociology. This degree enables me to carry out demanding activities such as planning, managing and controlling various inter-related budgets, processing funding applications and independently clarifying legal issues. In order to support my knowledge with professional skills, I decided to complete the master's degree in Applied Environmental Sciences part-time on my own initiative. The knowledge I acquired there in the areas of ecology, geosciences, environmental economics, water protection, environmental communication and environmental informatics round off my portfolio.
