Being part of the new engineering team, created as the company transitions from logistics into tech, I could use my unique combination of hard and soft skills to support designing and establishing processes and workflows. Participated in the architecture and stack decisions for the development of a new software platform, developing a reference implementation using modern technologies and methodologies, delivering could-ready Scala microservices.

Analysed, proposed, designed and implemented multiple features and improvements to a backend acquired from another company, including health-checking, chat service integration and game specific logic.

My skills on different ecosystems including Java, Scala and .Net, allowed me to deliver a working version of a highly scalable server side component in 25% of the estimated time. In the first semester in the company I also had the opportunity of participating in a hackathon, on which I placed second on it's regional phase with a presentation about the prototype developed in 24 hours, demonstrating the combination of web technologies and alternative input devices for data analysis on graph databases.

Developed an innovative approach to the challenges imposed by big data, which is in the process of being patented. Having knowledge about every aspect of the solutions, besides paying close attention to the colleges from a management perspective, I was also involved in actual coding, specially in the Scala language. Also learnt important new skills about infrastructure and testing, having actively collaborated in the definition, configuration and deployment of the selected continuous integration solution.

Initially focused in research to define the elements integrating the company's reference architecture and lately in the actual architecture, defining processes, standards and supporting projects in their different phases so the adherence to policies and recommendations could be measured and guaranteed. Starting from June 2010 the formation of new members of the company was added as a responsibility of the area I was coordinating.

Initially as analyst and later acting as supervisor in the research area, where technologies like BPMN solutions, rule engines, frameworks and portals where evaluated. The company where later incorporated in the operation that originated the todo!.

Participated in a project to develop a PMS (project management system), acting in activities related to planning, analysis, modelling, research and selection of used technologies, architecture definition, infrastructure and coding. Also the opportunity brought experience in project management activities, having participated in a coaching program, transferring technical and managerial knowledge to costumers.

Responsible for maintaining, developing new routines and supporting the users of finance and administrative management of educational foundations (PROF, developed using Progress technology) and workplace health and safety systems (PCMSO, PPRA, CAT, PPP among others developed in VisualBasic).

Technical support to social communication office of the brazilian federal senate,solving difficulties with software and hardware (desktops, notebooks, printers and network).

Help desk phone support at Terra internet provider. In some cases I was sent to solve the user issues in their premisses. Allowed the development of abilities beyond the technical, like the way of dealing with different costumer profiles.

Concluded bachelor degree in Computer Science in UNIVALI São José, after moving to Florianópolis, with the dissertation titled "Evolutionary Model for Optimizing Effort Estimation in Software Development Projects".
