IMPACT starts with us: Within the Industrial Control & Drives Line of Business, you will be part of the growing System Drives Line of Activity. System Drives represent a core part of the Schneider Electric portfolio able to help industrial customers decarbonize and electrify critical processes. As the leader of the EMEAS Regional Application Center you will manage a team responsible for the tendering and execution of customer projects in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and South America in the domain of System Drives. You will be responsible for the P&L success of customer projects with a focus on improving profitability and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible to lead training of commissioning and service resources regionally, as well as managing definition and availability of spare parts. Collaboration and alignment of best practices with other regional application centers in Asia and North America and with the Pre-Sales and Prescription team will be a must. This position will report to the VP of the System Drives Line of Activity.

• Manage Regional Application Center for EMEAS in Vienna (30+ headcount), including the Tendering, Design and Field Service teams
• Proactively work with project managers, sales support, and designers to ensure job objectives are met in terms of specification compliance, local requirements, system cost, schedule, and design quality
• Support local country organizations to defend our solutions to customers
• Collaborate and coordinate with other Regional Application Centers (Asia & North America) on international projects
• Drive continuous improvement and simplification of solutions to improve cost and time-to-market
• Support localization of drive system solutions in countries
• Provide post-shipment technical support as needed

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, alternatively mechanical or software engineering
• Strong and relevant experience with variable speed drives or industrial controls
• Cross-functional experience including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing
• Hierarchical management experience with a passion for profitable growth and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and with multicultural and international teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German would be advantageous
