After working as an L1 Analyst, I was transitioned to an L2 Device Manager for a client in the financial sector. My Responsibilities were: Maintain the security appliances in terms of both software and hardware related activities. Co-ordinate with the vendor/support team. Create use cases and SOPs. Automate mundane tasks. Analyse malware threats and provide a complete report to the customer. Respond to ad-hoc requests from the customer. Prepare weekly and Monthly MIS reports for the customer.

My Responsibilities were Monitoring a primary SIEM Tool and 8+ other Security Consoles. Daily/Weekly Reports on overall security threats and incidents. To provide inputs to level 2 for loopholes and to help in tightening the overall security of the organization. Provide prompt & concise information to L2/L3 team members for unresolved incidents. Rule Analysis and the provided Use Case Strengthening and SOP Documentation.
