    Master Thesis - Optimal Network and Frequency Planning for WLAN

    Presented a mulit-objective convex optimization integer linear problem (ILP) for network and frequency planning. WLAN planning includes finding the optimal number of APs to be installed in the network and allocating the best combination of frequency channels available. Used Convex Optimization (CVX) tool in MATLAB for modeling and Gurobi to solve the ILP. Developed a GUI in MATLAB for the visualization of results showing wireless nodes with coverage areas, frequencies and optimal positioning.

    Designed a software tool in MATLAB that can be re-configured for various spectrum sensing technologies and compare their performances under different environments. Implemented 3 popular detection techniques namely Energy detector, Cycle-stationary detector and Entropy detector. Also compared their results based on Probability of Detection, Probability of False Alarm and noise uncertainty. We also implemented and tested the SNR wall of each detector under different noise uncertainties.

Functionality included are Register\Sign-in users, chat server within the registered users, Read and Write the Passive NFC tags with authentication and also generate the EMR (Electronic Medical Report) of patient and pleasant Graphic user interface.
