Six partners in the research project 'MIA' investigate methods for exploiting the data of the German-speaking Web, initially in the areas of media, market research and consulting. The consortium develops services for the joint storage, analysis and utilization of this data. These services (mostly PaaS and DaaS) will enable completely new business models with information and analytics as an electronically tradable commodity.
