Being a student trainee in the "Einkaufscontrolling" at Siemens Mobility, I am able to gain an insight into the whole corporate culture and also into several divisions. My main task is the daily controlling, planning and reporting of various key figures. I have to deal with different tasks in the supply chain management and I also get in touch with supply chain finance. My daily work is based on working with MS Office which makes me completely familiar with MS Excel and any other MS Office software.

During my internship at OMV, from February to July 2016, I was responsible for finance and accounting tasks in the aviation department. We were also responsible for handling the invoices of the daily aircraft fuelings at the airports. Dealing with invoices includes risk management and hedging which were both parts of my tasks during the internship at OMV. Furthermore I found a solution why the calculated margin deviated from the real margin by using an excel sheet which I created by myself.

I was responsible for the technical equipment at the whole university, which includes the technical equipment in lecture halls and also the IT equipment for the workplaces of the university staff. Furthermore we were responsible for hosting the technical equipment for various internal and external events at WU. We supported the organizers with beamers, screens, audio equipment and more. Additionally the assistance of students in the computer rooms was also part of my area of responsibility.

Besides my bachelor thesis I did a three month full-time internship at Erste Bank.  Knowing that I want to work in the banking sector in my future career, I used the opportunity to get familiar with the daily bank business from the ground up. First I worked at the welcome desk and I supported the customers with daily businesses. I had the great chance to quickly change into the private customer service where I was able to take part in meeting preparations, the meetings themselves and the post-editing.
