We advise national, state and city governments, international organisations, civil society as well as the private sector on low-emissions development strategies (LEDS). Working at the intersection of development, energy and climate policies, we design transitional pathways to systems that are more affordable, more reliable, and more sustainable. Our goal is to achieve a braod range of social, economic, and ecolohical benefits rather than seeing these as competing gains.

Alexander Ochs provides strategic leadership on climate and energy policy, represents the Institute before public and private decision makers and the media, leads the Institute’s fundraising in the field, supervises program staff, and provides overall management and supervision of the Program. Provide policy guidance to all aspects of international policy. Provide guidance to research staff and on design of products useful for international and domestic advocacy. Direct advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill and maintain external relations with diverse groups and interests involved in int'l climate policy. Manage the European Dialogue project and staff who will be hired for CCAP Europe, Brussels. Coordinate on design of Future Action Dialogue and UN meetings.
