Worked on the following tasks: 1. Set up an OpenAirInterface testbed for LTE 2. Contribution to the implementation of a python-based co-simulator including implementation of API for NOMOR’s network-level simulator 3. Extension of the GUI of the network-level simulator to support new features 4. Contribution to development of scenarios and test-cases for the network-level simulator 5. Contribution to the simulator for implementing and debugging 5G-related features

Laboratory Tutor: Embedded Control Systems Laboratory. Assisting participating students with carrying out the experiments, running simulations and implementing programming tasks. Contents of the lab: 1. Optimal control design for feedback control systems and particle swarm optimization 2. Constraint-driven scheduling of real-time systems using integer linear programming and CPLEX 3. Control-platform co-design of cyber physical systems with multi-objective optimization technique

Working on the following tasks: 1. SPI implementation for data transfer from an IOT core to a specific Zolertia RE-mote 2. Connecting the multi-hop path of the RE-motes to a 6LoWPAN border router to transfer the sensor data to a server via Ethernet

Wireless multi-hop wireless sensor network setup and performance evaluation using time-slotted channel hopping (TSCH) with Cooja Simulator and Zolertia RE-Mote. 1. Scheduling the TX/RX links for each of the nodes corresponding to their respective timeslot and channel offset 2. Distributing the scheduling using Enhanced Beacons (EB) 3. Transmission of data packets as per the scheduling and collecting channel quality statistics (RSSI at each node)

Chair of Real-time Computer Systems Worked on the following tasks: 1. Platform aware simulation of cyber-physical systems with TrueTime, a Matlab/Simulink based simulator for embedded control systems 2. Integrated modelling of cyber-physical systems on Mentor Graphics Capital Systems

Developed an algorithm for hardware-efficient realization of finite impulse response (FIR) filters using differential coefficients in MATLAB. Research paper titled ‘Conditional Differential Coefficients Method for the Realization of Powers-of-two FIR Filter’ published in journal IEEE Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems.

Worked as an OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Consultant in the SAP practice. Individual Role: 1. designed functional specifications and algorithms as per the business requirements 2. configured workflow based solution to streamline the business processes 3. performed thorough testing and debugging on the system

Contributed to the experiments and simulations as part of the projects: 1. comparison of performance between a particular deployment tool plus static routing protocol and RPL which is a dynamic routing protocol designed for low power and lossy networks 2. finding the shadowing de-correlation distance on field and at the same time simulating the wireless link using tool Wireless InSite 3. ‘as-you-go deployment' of wireless sensor networks with the aim of reducing the relay cost of the network
