As of December 2010 I work as an auditor by Ernst & Young Bremen. During this time I mainly worked with medium sized clients reporting according to IFRS. I took part in year end audits as well as special projects not directly related to year end audit. I was also involved in the project of setting up a budget tool as well as preparing the budget of wind parks for a large company in the energy industry. My work by E&Y drastically improved my knowledge of IFRS and HGB as well as of other German law.

My responsibilities included handling of salaries, book keeping, invoicing, handling of ledgers, invoice registry as well as general office work.

My responsibilities were: registering incoming goods in the stock accounting, registering purchase orders, maintenance of the list of items, invoicing as well as general office work.

I spent one semester as an exchange student in Oldenburg, Germany, where I studied German as well as several subjects related to business administration. Most of the courses were given in German.

I spent one semester as an exchange student in Hamburg where I studied several subjects within business administration with a specialization in accounting. Half of the courses were given in English and half in German.
