As a dedicated materials science engineer with a background in chemical engineering, I specialize in nanofabrication, semiconductor physics, and semiconductor materials fabrication. With a bachelor's from the University of Mumbai and a master's in advanced functional materials from TU Chemnitz, Germany, I've gained hands-on experience in projects such as spin-coated TiO2 thin film synthesis for photocatalytic applications and silicon light-source fabrication by implanting carbon in silicon nanopillars on an SOI substrate that act as waveguides for a Quantum Photonic Integrated Circuit (QPIC). I seek a challenging opportunity in semiconductor fabrication to apply my expertise, work in a multidisciplinary team, and grow professionally in the semiconductor industry.

    Executed a master's thesis project at HZDR, Dresden, focusing on the fabrication of silicon photonic structures hosting telecom single-photon emitters on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrate using wet chemical etching techniques for quantum photonic integrated circuits. Acquired hands-on experience in various nanofabrication techniques, including UV lithography, atomic force microscopy, electron beam lithography, scanning electron microscopy, and reactive ion etching, and worked in a clean room environment.

    Tasked with the synthesis and characterization of spin-coated titanium dioxide thin films for photocatalytic applications. Successfully synthesized nano-titanium dioxide solution using the non-hydrolytic sol-gel route and further annealing. Spin-coated the synthesized nano titanium dioxide solution as thin films on intrinsic and n/p-doped silicon substrates. Characterized the final product using Scanning Electron Microscopy, X-Ray Diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and Ellipsometry.

    Designed chemical, petrochemical, and carbon seals for use in industrial machinery as per client requirements using AutoCAD. Analyzed current sales patterns with respect to past data and programmed an Excel tool to facilitate future analyses.
