Arindam Roychoudhury

I am a PhD candidate in Robotics at the University of Bonn. My research areas include environment sensing and representation for legged mobile robots.

Worked for Prof. Dr. Sven Behnke. Developed applications for efficient collision detection in mobile robots.

Worked for ZEF with Mr. Antonnio Rogmann. Maintained and enhanced the University of Bonn's Center For Development Research’s (ZEF) data portal.

Web crawling, social media mining, machine learning user interests based on browsing history, implementing a web-push notification system for the SBrowser ©, application performance monitoring and tuning, concurrent and distributed programming.

Involved in the development of machine learning system for retail websites which generated user recommendations, customer statis- tics and product replenishment intervals intelligently. Also worked as a trainer in India’s largest corporate university. Delivered lectures in classes with up to 200 students. Was in charge (managed) of training batches consisting of up to 400 fresh recruits. Also supervised internships for final year engineering students.
