I work as a Research Petrophysicist/Earth Scientist for Chevron ETC in Houston. I earned my PhD in Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020. During grad school, I was nominated a distinguished speaker by SPWLA twice, co-authored two other award winning papers, served at UT's SPWLA chapter as secretary and then president (2017/2018 and 2018/2019 outstanding student chapter awards), had 10+ journal publications, served as technical reviewer to multiple journals (e.g., SPE Journal, SPE REE, SPE P&O, JPSE, Journal of Applied Geophysics, JNGSE), and worked as an intern for Chevron ETC. Additionally, I have 7+ years of industry experience working for Petrobras, Aker Solutions/MHWirth, and Embraer.

My research work involved the development of petrophysical models to improve interpretation of electrical resistivity, dielectric permittivity, and NMR measurements in complex formations (e.g., mixed-wet carbonates and organic-rich mudrocks). I also developed pore-scale numerical simulators to enhance the understanding of the different petrophysical properties affecting electrical and NMR measurements.
