Supporting the setting up & development of a new research project - eye tracking & perception study. Matlab coding and troubleshooting for first experiments & analysis.

Postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Michael Morgan, focusing on studying perception psychophysically as well as by means of eye tracking. We were interested in the effects of perception on eye movements (and vice versa).

- Research on cortical and thalamic processing of heat, primarily using fMRI. - Setting up a vertical magnet (4.7T) system to study perception and processing of tactile and visual stimuli in awake NHP. (project managment and development)

I worked with Prof. Anna Roe, studying visual perception and processing, primarily by means of psychophysics in humans, and single unit recording in NHP. My research focus was on illusory contour processing and interaction with real contours in visual areas V1 and V2. I also collaborated with Dr. Peter Kaskan in optical imaging studies, looking at functional domain organization in visual cortices V1, V2, and MT in new world monkeys.

Perception and processing of Illusory Contours; psychophysical and neurophysiological studies.

My master research was focused on psychophysical measurements of color processing in humans, with focus on retinal structures (flicker photometric measurement to estimate individual cone ratios), and the perceptual interaction between motion, color and luminance (isoluminant motion).
