Dr. Berthold M. Kuhn

Dear friends and colleagues, here info on my professional background & activities: I am a political scientist and international cooperation expert, focusing on climate policies, sustainability transformations, megatrends research and strategic foresight. I work as consultant to international and nonprofit organizations as well as global think tanks. I was a professor at Leiden University, Tsinghua University, and Xiamen University and are now involved in research, teaching, and international conference activities at Freie Universität Berlin. I have done many project evaluations for the European Commission and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), most recently I evaluated the GIZ project "Sino-German Center for Sustainable Development". The report is scheduled to be published on GIZ website in spring 2023.
