I manage our Program Managers and a team of Incorporate Trainers who are embedded in clients' businesses. They enable the people they support to work more effectively in English by helping them improve communicative competence.

My role involved providing instruction to local businesses and meeting the needs of a wide range of clients. Challenges included assessing and providing for specialised requirements; creating a supportive learning environment; progress reports and counselling; and ensuring goal-related deadlines were met. I was working with senior executives at numerous companies and also provided consultation, proof-reading and translation services to private individuals and companies

This position involved teaching National Curriculum English to school children of all ages. The ability to inspire and motivate the students to learn was a crucial element of this work.

Working for a private language school in Modena, Italy, my responsibilities were as follows: teaching general and business English to students of all levels (individuals and groups); arranging lesson schedules; assessing students' requirements; overseeing progress tests and end-of-year tests; preparing students for relocation to English-speaking countries.

Other than the normal teaching duties, I was also responsible for preparing students for the TOEFL test.

My role involved dealing primarily with External Examiners whose reports aided our efforts in maintaining high academic standards at the University.
