Burcin Sezen

I have been responsible for all business development and asset management activities of the company including; bidding for the contracts and contacting potential investors in relation of projects, negotiating with landlords and occupiers, developing business models for potential projects, leading each project development process from beginning to end, analysing potential markets & project areas.

I was responsible for leading all research&valuation&strategic consultancy services and the team. I involved in the corporate consultancy and agency services for major local and international companies in collaboration with all related departments within the company. I conducted valuation and strategic consultancy studies of all types of properties and real estate components for major corporates. I also managed portfolio valuations, NPL’s and due diligences both on the buyer, seller and occupier sides.

I was responsible for executing valuation, feasibility and best-use studies, development and investment consultancy for international and local investors/occupiers, developers, funds and financial institutions, market analysis and due diligence advisory in collaboration with international team members. I supported also agency services of the company.

Experience in doing valuation studies based on Capital Markets Board of Turkey; attending meetings in Germany and in the Netherlands to expand TADEM’s business lines

“Life Plus Fund” is the first public-private partnership micro-grants program of the UNDP. I was responsible for fund management, monitoring the funded projects, coordinate publication and promotion of the program and prepare progress and financial reports to Coca Cola and UNDP.

“Turkey Local Agenda 21 Program” was a joint program of UNDP and Government of Turkey. I was involved and have contributed in all stages of the project including project development, management and monitoring (logical framework, SWOT analysis etc.).

I started being involved in the Association as a volunteer during my university study and held various positions since then.

The Local Authorities in the EU Process Project carried out by World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (WALD) and supported by European Commission. I worked as project assistant , and was involved and have contributed in all stages of the project including the preparatory work, the organization of the pertinent activities, report writings and publications.
