TRANSACTRAINING specialises in Legal English and legal communication skills training and coaching (in person and virtual), legal training materials development, and legal proofreading/translation services (DE-EN). Since 2014, I've coached over 1500 lawyers and compliance professionals from 27 countries, giving them the confidence they need to work in an increasingly complex global legal market.

Coordinated and taught all courses on the FFA (Fachspezifische Fremdsprachenausbilung) programme aimed at familiarising German law students with Anglo-American legal principles and equipping them with the Legal English skills necessary to practice as lawyers at an international level.

Worked with lawyers both in-house and in private practice - Legal English tuition, preparation for the ILEC exam, business and drafting skills coaching (one-to-ones, workshops and groups). Worked with students in the media, construction, energy, banking and pharmaceutical sectors to provide business English and business skills coaching (one-to-ones, workshops and groups).

Short-term contract as an Employee Incentives Advisor in the International Employment and Incentives Group advising Linklaters' major clients on the global implementation of their employee incentive plans.

Lawyer in the Legal Advisory division providing corporate/commercial, corporate tax and lending and securities advice to clients.

Lawyer in the Global Loans team advising major banks on arranging finance for borrowers requiring capital for general corporate purposes or specific projects.

Two-year legal training contract and one year as a qualified lawyer in the Corporate Tax Department.

Lectured and coordinated the laws of Taxation, Property, Evidence and Conflict of Laws as taught to Bachelor of Laws students. Also lectured part-time in 2001, 2004 and 2005.
