I mainly work onsite as part of the development team for client projects, designing and developing Android applications. My auxiliary responsibilities include - I provide technical solutions and create solution documents along with effort estimations for clients requests for proposals (RFPs) - I perform research and create Proof-of-Concepts when required for proposing the best possible solutions. - I conduct interviews for new Android candidates and help in training new recruits.

As an Android developer, I design & develop features, in discussions with Product Owners, Architects, UX & other stakeholders. I focus on quality through exhaustive Unit and UI tests & peer reviewing of code. With strict adherence to Agile Scum processes, we ensure constant delivery of well defined User stories. Led a team of 8 devs for the Zigy Medicine e-Commerce & Delivery Android apps. I designed the app architecture & created reference implementations for new concepts at the time like RxJava, Dagger & Lambdas. I developed a lightweight MVP framework called Overseer, on which the application was based. With the Architects, I designed the REST API for the mobile & web clients. I was involved in brainstorming sessions with stakeholders for new feature ideas & implementations. Interviewed and mentored new devs.

I created a custom CMS from scratch in Java Play, as a sales platform for my Internet Marketing software products. I designed & developed, the Azon Affiliate Toolkit, in C#.NET, a multi-productivity desktop app for Amazon Affiliates & Internet Marketers. I also worked as a Freelancer on several smaller-scale desktop, mobile & web applications. During this time developing my own products, I honed my design skills in Photoshop and Illustrator, creating my own design assets for my websites and apps.

I led multiple teams totalling 8 developers, and co-ordinated with Project Managers, Architects, UX teams to design, develop and deliver client projects on strict deadlines. Interacted closely with existing clients and potential clients, in creating technical solutions and proposal documents. I was part of the Innovations team, where I evaluated emerging frameworks and trends and created POCs

I worked on several Android apps including: The Android port of NAVTEQ maps by Nokia, a travelling guide app with a sophisticated recommendation engine, a field survey app for agents to conduct surveys that would auto sync with a server, a dating app, a POS app, a sales & inventory management app for a major auto parts manufacturer, an Android SDK for an advertising company, an Android SDK for a social gaming platform & a taxi booking app, apart from several POCs.

Was of the innovations team "iNode", responsible for implementing new frameworks & tools, determining best practices & creating guides/documents for the findings. I worked on a couple of web applications in J2EE, using frameworks like Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSF, Sitemesh. I worked on and delivered the first Android app of the company, on Android version 1.6 (Donut), on a very short deadline, which was an Event management and Ticketing app.
