    Product Photographer

    NEPTO

Nepto was my moment to explore and develop this skill. Though, details have always been a strong point of mine, especially for weddings. I enjoy taking an inanimate object and bringing it to life, giving it a stage and highlighting its beauty, whether that be highlighting its design or cleverly revealing a natural beauty through position and lighting. Lighting is my best friend when it comes to product photography, there is no limit to what one can do and I love exploring different techniques.

    Wedding Photography

    Emma-Lou Shoots

Though physically challenging, I love capturing the whole day, It’s one of the most, if not THE most import days of a couples life and seeing the whole day unfold in my photos is an honour. Details are a strength of mine and they're very important on a wedding day, the couple put a lot of thought into them. But more importantly, for me, the natural moments I capture between the couple, family and friends, are the photos that stand out the most!

  • Company/Website

    .

I have produced photography for a variety of different companies, mostly for their websites, but also for their promotional content. I have had such clients as a hotel, a holistic health service provider and also a life coaching service, to name a few. This included product/detail photography, hotel interior & exterior, event photography and team portraits. Often a company wants more than one specific service and want a whole variety package. My ability and versatility allows me to do this with confidence.

  • Portraiture

    .

From modelling to professional company portraits, I have explored a variety of ways to capture a person. Though I have often used natural light to capture someone, I find the assistance of lighting essential in most cases, whether that be as minimal as a reflector or as extravagant as four different sources of light, especially for professional and corporate portraits. Every portrait shot has been different and both the client and myself have always been happy with the results.

  • Events

    .

Weddings also come into this category and I can also add.. a pop up store opening, theatre productions, hotel opening , Halloween party and more to that list! Normally event photography is without the use of artificial light, but once the sun has gone down, or if indoors, it’s essential I have a speed light to bounce off the ceiling, to get the photos needed.

  • Post Production

    .

My first go to with post production is Lightroom. Lightroom I know very well and one can manipulate the colours with great accuracy and I almost always work from scratch (without preset filters). Second is photoshop, mostly for in depth edits, for example product and catalogue photography, where the photos need to be absolutely pristine. I have done a lot of face retouching work.
