I’m working in the field of CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) and my main responsibility, as a member of the research team, is to do research and development for new language teaching platforms as well as evaluate various technical choices for future projects. So far I have developed projects using Drupal, Moodle, Python, JavaScript, Django and Java (working in both MS Windows and GNU/Linux environments) for our partners.

As a lecturer in the computer science department of Istanbul Bilgi University I have given the following courses: * CMN147 Computational and Mathematical Numeracy for Social Scientists I * COMP 151 Using Computers Effectively * COMP 250 Computer Organization I have used open source Moodle e-learning system as a course support systems for a better teaching experience.

I have been responsible for the operation of the IBM CAS lab. in the university and coordinating relations with IBM. I have coordinated Linux training courses by IBM for Turkish high school teachers. In addition to that I have managed projects at the laboratory such as grid-based parallel ray-tracing based video research and semantic web recommendation systems. I was responsible for tracking their progress and outcomes.

I was a part of the team which has created the first Internet based MBA e-learning program in Turkey in 2000. As one of the lead programmers I did database design, server side programming in SQL, T-SQL, ASP and then C# and ASP.NET as well as client side scripting in JavaScript.
