Erik Bernskiöld

Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Starta ihop, a service that helps young swedish entrepreneurs find other motivated, young entrepreneurs to start a business together with with the goal to increase young entrepreneurship in Sweden. In my role as co-founder and chairman, I am responsible for developing a long-term web strategy, the technical development of the service and using my web expertise and industry connections to grow the site.

In my position as Managing Director for Bernskiold Media I am responsible for running the company, managing projects and acting as primary web strategist. Bernskiold Media is focused on helping companies with their high-level web strategy and integrating the web as a vital part of their business and marketing strategies. This, we do through a complete package developing strategies, developing the solutions to realize them and following up with education and analysis.

Managing Director and founder of XLD Studios (part of Bernskiold Media AB) a web agency specialized in and working exclusively with WordPress to create tailored websites to help small and medium sized businesses succeed with their web presence. In my role as Managing Director, I am responsible for running the day-to-day operations, coordinating the production team and managing projects, accounts and client relationships.

Göteborg Organ Art Center (GOArt) is a research department under the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg focusing on research in pipe organs and related early keyboard instruments. My position at GOArt includes creating strategies for presenting the department research online as well as implementing them. At GOArt I am also responsible for maintaining the department website and in charge of all web projects.

As part of the Board of Advisors at Piqsure, my role included giving strategic advice about website implementation of their service to customers in addition to advice regarding their own website.

In my role as Sales Representative, I was responsible for direct sales of cameras to customers as well as prints and related photo material. In addition to selling, I was over the years responsible for managing stock, creating adverts and marketing material, running the store website and simplifying workflows for staff to help maximize availability for customers.
