• Coordination of operation activities to ensure high standard condition and safe operation of the fleet • Monitor and administer vessels charter-income / managing fees • Monitor and deal with the Insurance and P&I Club matters of the company • Managing the resolution of claims • Develop and conduct surveys and statistics regarding the fleet • Communication with ships and charterers • Undertaking various other assignments as deemed appropriate by the management

• Managing cargo handling and lashing equipment of both owned and Time Chartered Fleet • Preparing investigations and flagged checks of the equipment in cooperation with other internal departments • Overview on various projects such as the assessment of trends and modifications for operational equipment e.g. product developments, new regulations, trade impacts • Keeping close contact with suppliers, commercial and technical departments

• Managing an average number of 12-15 ships • Key Duties : Voyage Instructions, Nomination of Port Agent(s), Bunker Planning, Monitoring Vessel's performance, Supervision of Cargo Care, Control of Cargo Papers, Cargo Handling arrangements, co-coordination of internal departments, taking Care that all requirements of the C/P are followed / fulfilled • Keeping in close contact with cargo clients, brokers and headowners • Ensuring that highest quality of services is provided to customer

• Supervising Manager / Desk head • Training of apprentices / Developing Individuals • Close co-operation with Human Resources Dpt • Establishing, Developing and Leading a team of 20 people worldwide (Germany, Singapore, India, Australia) • Responsible for individuals annual Performance evaluation • Supporting and motivating Individuals • Statistics Reports to Management on monthly basis • Evaluating Team’s Capacity against forecasted workload

• Executing spot purchasing of bunkers for company’s fleet of abt 350-400 T/C vessels • Negotiating bunker prices • Following up with bunker suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries • Worldwide Communication with Satellite offices, suppliers, brokers and traders • Advising Operations and Chartering Department about best bunkering options after evaluating market reports • Representing the company, developing relationship with bunker suppliers

• Commission Payments to brokers • Issuing of freight invoices • Laytime Calculations • Final Freight Control

- Attending Ship surveys - Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements

• Managing Door to Door deliveries via airfreight, seafreight & roadfreight • Staying close to the shipment from pick up to delivery, keeping clients closely updated with shipment’s latest position / status • Handling ship spare deliveries of company’s fleet (Bulk Carriers) • Warehousing Projects and logistics • Co-ordination with Global Network partners (Helmann WW Logistics)

Obligatory Military Service

• Communication with captains, suppliers and agents • Processing requisitions for ship spares and stores • Following up and ensuring timely delivery on board • Paying out supplier’s invoices
