Dr. Farzin Arjmand

I am currently working at the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering of East China University of Science and Technology as a lecturer and Researcher. My main responsibilities in this position are: - Teaching topics such as: Materials Science & Engineering, Electrochemistry and Corrosion. - Supervising master and PhD students for their research in the field of materials analysis, electrochemistry and corrosion of metals and alloys.

I worked at the School of Nuclear Science and Engineering (Joint Lab for Corrosion of Nuclear Power Materials), of Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a postdoctoral researcher. My main responsibilities in this position were: - Conducting research in the field of high-temperature corrosion of iron and nickel based alloys in simulated coolants of pressurized water reactors. - Supervising master and PhD students in the field of high-temperature electrochemistry, materials analysis and corrosion.
