Operations: deal and solve casualties involving damaged containers, finding the most efficient solution to enable further transport. Appointment of suitable surveyors and experts, in case of cargo issues and damage to fix and floating objects. Handling of cargo claims; Internal Legal Guidance: related to the contract of carriage or service contracts.

During my work experience at PL Ferrari, I was employed in the Claims department, providing insurance consultancy to customers in relation to their P&I and defence cover. I had the chance to come in touch with a various casualties, as ship arrests, damage to fix and floating objects, pollution, bulk, liquid and project cargo claims, crew injuries, as well as disputes under the FDD cover under charterparties and COA.
