Filippo Surace

In 2013 he is elected Vicepresident, in charge of relations with the University and the Accademy, the “Foundation SANIFAR ONLUS”, a Foundation based on legal guidance in the areas of health and pharmaceutical which counts among its members some of the high end managers and leading experts in the field.

In 2013 he founded his latest creation, CUBE LABS, with the aim of certified incubator; thanks to an extended network of active collaborations with Universities and outstanding Research Centers and established international relations with investors in the field, CUBE LABS enhances the topic of intellectual property trough the creation of high tech spin off.

Since 2012 he is President of the Health department of Confindustria in Lecce and as of January 2014 he is elected Vicepresident of the Regional Board of the Health dept of Confindustria Puglia. Since 2006 he is involved as a health manager at a level of industrial association as a member of Executive Committee.

Filippo Surace is involved as a health manager in the field of medical science and he founded in 2009, involving excellent professionals, the Non Profit organization called “Innova ONLUS Translational Research”, a futuristic development model which was created to promote and substain the medical research applied to the fields of bio and nanomedicine. Scientists and reserachers from the accademic world and international operators in the business world have become promoters.

Since 2005 he is Visiting Staff Scientist at the Sbarro Institute of Philadelphia, an Institution that operates in the areas of cancer research, cardiovascoular deseases, diabetes and other cronical deseases. In the same facility, Dott. Surace carries out an activity finalized to the definition of development politics in Europe.

Since 2004 he collaborates with the Temple University of Philadelphia on the topic of models of operation of research facilities and since 2009 he is an Adjunct Professor at the “Center for Biotechnology College of Science & Technology” at the Temple University of Philadelphia.

Since 1992 he is the CEO of the Gruppo Surace, leader in Rihabilitation and permanent Scientific Training Center, present in the large Area of Salento with numerous locations that are integrated throughout the supply chain of rihabilitation and that delivers around 25,000 cycles of therapy a year.
