 To ideate and develop advanced concepts utilizing SMA technology to secure new and maintain existing business opportunities.  To develop testing tools to help the design and optimization process within the SMA product family.  Plan, coordinate and implement customer related or internal driven SMA development activities in design, testing, prototyping following the internal processes.  Technical interface for all SMA issues to customers in cooperation with global Customer Focus Teams.

 To build and improve testing setups for shape memory alloys.  To perform tests and analyze the system parameters to create a robust and improved product.

 Topic: “Shape memory alloy wire control to enhance the fatigue life “  Development and implementation of a new control software for a Shape memory alloy wire used in a valve controlling a pneumatic massage system. In order to activate the alloys in a homogeneous and repeatable way to gain a long fatigue life of the product. (Grade:1.0)

 To develop advanced application and improvements for the current product portfolio in the area of the seat comfort systems.  To assist the IP counsel with patent research and applications.
