Registered as 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the State of Pennsylvania, Igutech mentors two FIRST Lego League (FLL) and one FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team for students, grade 3-12. With more than 20 years in-depth experience with opto-electronic product development, GC developes optoelectronic packaging solutions and provides manufacturing process development services for clients worldwide.

Cenix Inc. (now CyOptics), a leader in the design and automated manufacturing of high-speed modules for optical telecommunication developed next-generation (OC192, 10Gbit/s) optical subsystems, which provided high-speed connection between fiber optic telecom lines and electronic devices. Led development and assembly of an innovative laser module for high-speed data transmission. Transferred assembly of laser module into automated production line. Owned product performance and reliability.

Gemfire, a manufacturer of innovative integrated optical components, applies planar (semiconductor-type) processing technology to optical platforms creating novel high-performance telecommunication products. Invented and developed integrated optics technology with focus on lasers, assembly processes and precision optical alignment. Engineered and assembled innovative laser modules for new optical display and novel telecommunication applications.

IBM Research Division focused on basic and applied research in computer science, magnetic and optical storage technology and worked with IBM product developers to create and improve IBM products. Advanced fundamental scientific understanding of electro-optic materials (lithium niobate) and used this knowledge to create novel optical holographic data storage method. Set up new optical instrument and demonstrated feasibility of an innovative approach allowing non-destructive data retrieval.
