A Continuum Mechanical Model to describe the interaction between fibers in an anisotropic material (Inelastic fibers embedded in a poro-elastic matrix). A parametric study into the acceptable range of the interaction parameters for the optimal stability and conditioning of the boundary value problem. Implementation of the Material tangent derived from the continuum mechanical theory into PANDAS, an in-house FEM solver developed at the institute.
