The research focused on energy-efficient resource management in virtualized environments which included: - Set up of test-beds for data collection of server resource usage - Applied machine learning algorithms on the resource usage data to develop a high-precision power model for server power estimation - Studied task scheduling problem in the cloud using the CloudSim-Plus simulation tool - Proposed heuristic-based scheduling algorithm to optimize the resource utilization of servers in dynamic scenarios

- Worked on the power management solutions for cellular telecom sites like GSM's BTS sites. - Main focus on the IoT based Remote Monitoring System "SmartMon.Net" with the capability of handling data from power systems of over 10000 BTS sites distributed over two continents. - Data analytics for intelligent predictive maintenance by monitoring generators' power quality, fuel status, and other environmental factors.
