As a PhD candidate in the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Degree Program (IDDP) my research spans the areas of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), as well as Engineering Systems Management (ESM). My proposed thesis title is “Stability and optimization studies of droop controlled microgrids and power systems with high penetration of inverter based distributed generators”.

As a Project & Contracts Management Consultant I worked for Clients w.r.t. Project Management, Planning, Contract Management, claim development & management and risk analysis.

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer, I coordinated the re-estimating process for E&I and introduced new procedures that were adapted by both CCC and the EPC Contractor (Snamprogetti) for their efficiency. Having completed successfully the PTW training and examination by ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company), I was certified to perform on-site surveys and to review documents in terms of their E&I compliance with GASCO’s (Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd) technical specifications and standards.

As the Lead Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation of the ILH-3 EPC Contract with the Public Power Corporation of Greece. My role included the coordination of the Engineering, Design, and Procurements Phases, the review of the specifications of performance tests, and issuance of RFPs to numerous multinational vendors of HEP equipment like Siemens, GE, ABB, Alstom, etc.

As a Lead Engineer & DCS Commissioning Manager, I participated in the Engineering, Development and Commissioning of the DCS and ESD Systems for the Natural Gas Fired Power Plants
