Issa Dadoush is the Director of the General Services Department for the City of Houston. Mr. Dadoush leads seven divisions and is responsible for managing one of the largest and diverse portfolios of building assets in the United States
as well as directing the City’s parking management
facility security
real estate and energy procurement. In his tenure as Director
Mr. Dadoush has overseen the development of 26 LEED Silver designated facilities
and has managed the energy conservation retrofit of three million square feet. The result of this effort is that while the City of Houston grew in double digit numbers
the City had a net decrease in energy consumption. Mr. Dadoush’s success as the Director is due to his diverse professional and educational background
which includes roles as a chief of design and construction and senior level project management
in both the public and private sector. Mr. Dadoush’s work experience is complemented by his education. Mr. Dadoush has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston in engineering technology
with an emphasis in structural analysis and design and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston
Bauer School. Mr. Dadoush is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas and holds an honorary membership with the American Institute of Architects
