Dr. Jack Graneek

Played a key role in a project designed to facilitate the transition of Johnson & Johnson’s Master Data to an updated software version (LIMS Labware 7). Acted as the link between teams based in Germany and India. Responsible for assigning tasks and setting deadlines to teams based in India. Planned and led team meetings to discuss assignments and define objectives. Maintained and implemented strategies to better track the progress made throughout the project.

Effectively the lead in the development of a new experimental set-up working in the FS-SMP (Spectroscopy of Molecular Processes) group of Prof. Melanie Schnell. The more senior position means the supervision and mentor-ship of graduate students is also an important responsibility.

Graduated with a magna cum laude in chemistry from the University of Hamburg. Research focused on the application and development of microwave deceleration techniques, and also included the spectroscopic analysis of molecules of interest. Further accomplishments include: - Development of code to quantify physical phenomena and establish feasibility of future experiments. - Produced insightful analysis published in well recognized scientific journals

- Account management; ensured clients were given appropriate access to online tool. - Helped develop and maintain the online tool, i.e. GlobalWebIndex product. - Provided data and insight for clients based on an established brief.

Covered fundamental theories in the principles of analytical chemistry, molecular energetics and rates, and quantum chemistry. Awarded a First Class grade for my Masters research and acquired publications in a top-ranking physical and theoretical chemistry journal.
