    The Bright Alliance Advisory Committee

    I was a member of the Bright Alliance Advisory Committee, led by Lucy Hughes Turnbull AO, with the objective of raising $5 million for the new Bright Alliance cancer centre, part of the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, Sydney. I co-ordinated the overhaul of key messaging, redesign of the website and promotional brochures, creation of a donor database, and planning of a fundraiser event, attended by the Prime Minister, which raised over $2.7 million. The new centre opened in October 2016.

    I founded Hannover Fairs Australia in 2000, which developed and produced CeBIT Australia, which became Australia’s largest and most successful ICT event. Under my direction, CeBIT Australia delivered over $2 billion of economic benefit to NSW and Australia, brought global recognition to the Australian ICT and research industries, and established international partnerships that resulted in major research collaboration projects, and ongoing business.
