Creatively advocate for needs and interests of minority-owned small businesses to local governments and agencies through earned media, new media, and direct lobbying campaigns. Lobby local government offices and agencies on behalf of minority-owned small businesses around issues including land use, city services, and partnerships with arts and cultural commissions.

Served as a fiduciary trustee of the University of California, the sole voting student member of the University of California's governing Board of Regents, and often a liaison between UC decision-makers and student constituents.

I served as a critical part of OCA - Greater Los Angeles chapter organizational staff, helping the chapter's executive board accomplish their civil rights, membership, and community goals through utilizing my administrative, programmatic, logistical, and technical abilities.

A field intern for the Phu Nguyen for State Assembly campaign, responsible for contacting potential voters through phone banks, precinct walks, and street publicity and informing them of the candidate and the candidate's platform.

Led the local, statewide, and national advocacy and civil engagement efforts of the 21,000 UC Irvine undergraduate students, managing a budget of over 70,000 dollars.

Led an umbrella organization of 8 constituent and affiliated Asian Pacific Islander student organizations with the mission to empower, educate, and mobilize Asian Pacific Islander students around issues surrounding social justice and community building.
