ARTI GROUP (Previously Arvato Group of Bertelsmann), Bergamo, Italy • 2014-2017 The group consists of Nuovo Istituto Italiano di Arti Grafiche SpA, Eurogravure SpA., Arti Grafiche Johnson SpA, and Arti Kalenders & Promotional Services GmbH (AKPS). Played lead role in orchestrating the acquisition and restructuring of the Printing Group of Bertelsmann AG Europe by Bavaria Industries group. Oversaw all aspects of operations and restructuring for all 4 companies with turnover of €210M and 1800 personnel.

Restructered the 3 companies in Italy (‘T.S.I.’ Catering Day-Trains; ‘Servirail’ Night-Trains and ‘Compagnia Internazionale delle Carrozze Letti e del Turismo’ Real Estate. After an average loss of € 2,5 MIL/month from June 2009 up to Feb. 2010, the Break-Even was realized in Oct.2010. Main actions: change of the 3 top managers, change of all strategic suppliers, introduction of a new electronic supply chain monitoring through advanced Handle PCs for the sales on board.

President/ CEO (and Member of Executive Board of Holding D.Logistics AG) Restructured weakest unit of pan-European logistics player D.Logistics AG: Italy Built business up to 2004: €60 million revenues and €0.5 million recurring EBIT, from €70 million revenues and €3.8 million EBIT loss in 2001.

Planned and developed strategic projects for entrance of DB Cargo, the logistics arm of Germany’s Bundesbahn. Held top-level negotiations with executives of Italian, Swiss and Austrian railway companies as well as influential senior politicians to promote the company’s unconventional entrance into the Italian Market.
