The role engaged with the automotive industry to generate interest and trials for this new type of product/data. At the invitation of BMW, was sole author of the ‘Map Data for ADAS’ chapter in the reference 'Springer Handbook of Intelligent Vehicles'.

In Germany our main customer was Mannesmann Mobilfunk (D2, Vodafone), the world’s largest and fastest growing mobile operator. Managed extensive tendering, offering and negotiation activities, securing multi-$100M orders in the process.
