Jonas Schubach

Jonas is a Cinematographer from Lake Constance, Germany, with an artist visa for the United States. His work has been broadcast on national television in Germany, China and the United States. His most recent feature, the science-fiction thriller All Terrain, was produced by Oscar-winner Gray Frederickson (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) and is one of the world’s first 3D 360° VR feature films. He received two European Cinematography Awards, a European Independent Film Award and was nominated for two Golden Eagles. Jonas holds an MFA from Florida State University, an MA from the University of Memphis and a BA from the University of Mainz and he has taught classes in cinematography and film at all three institutions between projects. In his free time he plays the guitar, listens to the Beatles or canoes on Lake Constance.
