Investigated the anti-tumorigenic potential of Galectin-7 in the context of HPV-induced carcinogenesis. This project laid the foundation of a published study in which transcriptomic and proteomic analyses found Galectin-7 to affect the regulation of molecular networks in cervical cancer.

Examined the potential association of polymorphisms in the serotonin transporter gene and the occurrence of depressive and anxiety symptoms in individuals 17-27 years of age
